I recently did a post on the Lady Bird Wildflower Center also. It is absolutely beautiful. We’ve been in the Austin area for almost 2 months and are headed up to Dallas at the end of the week. There’s so much to see and so much we missed. We’ll have to put it on the list for the next visit. Beautiful photographs–and I hope you didn’t run into the coiled and rattling diamond back we came across on a path at the wildflower center! 🙂 Safe travels to you. Dawn

I heard about this resident snake. I was shown video of such a snake winding across the path near the. wisteria trellis that was shot 15 min. before I arrived. I would have liked to have seen that in person. Spending time now in San Antonio for Fiesta, then on to Big Bend NP.

We kept a safe distance, but it was something to see. I also went hiking at McKinney Roughs and saw another one on the path (walked a mile out of the way to avoid that one). Safe travels to you. I’ll be keeping up with your adventures. Dawn
